Congrats! 
on the new kitty! well your hedded in the right direction with more air! cold air however, you might think about loooowering your operating temps. with the 160* thermostat and the hand held programer of your choice, and the throttle body by-pass tube is only about $10 I chose the Twin-flow cold air intake and its the one for me 
I opened up the fog light schrouds for REAL COLD air! I've done some more things long tube hedders/X-pipe and finished with the b&b bullits but that came latter. You know that if you hang arround here long enough you will find that all this is.........NOTHING! we have some real giant killers 
..........."lurking" arround this place. Last week some of the forum guys&girls got together in the part of the country that I live in Issaquah Wa. (its a burb of seattle) and this nice quite looking guy(till he lifts his hood) named "muffeler" has" lingenfelter" all over his engine bay (660 r.w.h.p.) another guy has a blower and all the trappings another wacko has the biggest bottle of "nitrous" ive ever seen
