Hey guys i know I should have posted this is the audio ection but im looking for a fast response.. I am in the middle of hooking up my JL audio stealth box w/amp to my car...
How are u guys running the power wire to the battery? Is there any holes or am I going to have to drill a hole through the firewall?
On the passenger side there's a passthrough with a big grommet that the main harness comes through just under the battery and glovebox. You can see it on the right in the pics below. On the driver's side you might be able to go through the hole the hood release cable passes through.

I just finished my stereo installation this last weekend. I ran my power and ground wires through the passenger side like Patches said. You will have to remove the battery and cut a slit on that grommet to pass the wires through. Then once your wires are run through there, use some electrical tape and close it up. You might find it easier to work the wire through from the battery compartment instead of from under the dash. Good luck. Dwayne
Alot of members mount the amp above the center storage bin. Personally I didn't want to cut or drill into anything so I made myself a rack to mount the amps to.

Can i mount the amp behind one of the seats? Or is the gas tank there?
I mounted my JL amp to a piece of plywood, then cut the plywood so it's a press fit into my left rear "storage compartment". I then fabbed up a cover that runs around the edge of the amp so that the amp shows in the center. Of course I covered the cover with black carpet. HTH
