Well since putting the Tiger Shark stuff on the car it didn't have "Corvette" on it anywhere. I got to thinking again (that can be bad) and decided to take the Corvette script from a couple of front license covers and mold them into the lower front corner of the doors. Primer and paint tonight What'ya think?
DaaaYYUUUMMM that is cool!!!! Only a few would attempt this as I know just how difficult this was to do. First you had to split the front cover and then the difficult part begins. The next time someone tells me that I have too much time on my hands, I'll send them to this post!!
I'll withold judgement until I see the final result. I personally like the clean look, and don't have any words or logos on my car anywhere (exterior). I was all set to shave the door handles too, untill I found out that tracks won't let you run without them. Your car is one of my favorites here, due to all the "little details". Let's see how this turns out.
Looks good so far.....you should cut it out and put lights behind it.
It is so low on the door and in black it will fade in...... the lights will make it jump out
I like it alot! Very unique, just like your vette. I can't wait to see the end result. I think the letter should just remain indented and not colored, it'll have a "factory" look that way.
I like the idea a lot, but it is difficult to visualize with that picture. I cant wait to see the finished product on the car. Good luck, you are very talented.

I'm guessing it would look like this...I added some red or else in black, it would be hard to see...personally I'd leave it black so it's subtle, but a deep shade of red would look cool to if your interior was along that route as well.....
btw, for you guys that don't want to put forth the effort and give it the look of the engraved letters, god knows the work being put in is a p.i.t.a, but why not just the bubble decals that fit in the rear "corvette" bumper area..It could look good...have to see it in person though...I like what GB is doing though, looks cool when it's intergrated...
