Never sold a Vette - but I bought mine from the VetteNet. There's also Corvette Hound and VetteFinders that are pretty good sites. I know a lot of folks use Auto Trader, too.
Of course there is - the C5s for sale section of the forum!!!
Just sold mine here to another forum member (Mitch Brown) and it was a very good experience. But, you have to price it right because most of the people on the forum are well informed and have done their home work. My first post was 4/2/05 and the vette was sold on 4/16.
Good luck to you.
The last C5 I sold was listed here on the forum and on ebay. I received two offers from the forum and both buyers backed out. I ended up selling to a buyer on ebay who was a dealer. I would still recommend posting here because it is free and also I have seen quite a few successful deals on the forum, just was not real effective in my case.
