If it's been over a year or so since you've had it aligned, I would go ahead and do it, otherwise your good to go.

Do a custom alignment and improve your handling, too!

If you are buying new tires it's cheap insrance to get an alignment.

I just got new wheels and tires and my alignment was perfect even with 3 agracultural experiences at the track, so It's probably, the time before that, Only 1 the only thing off was one wheel's camber and that was after the factory alignment and 17K miles.
Of course with the new non-runcraps, I took the opportunity to crank up the camber and add a little toe in in the back and man it can corner great now.
I would never let anyone touch my car just for the sake of having something done - especially when it is not needed.
New tires do not require a fresh alignment
If you don't have any wear issues and have not hit any large objects, then leave it alone. Check your new tires to see how they are wearing and align as needed.
I just had mine lowered on stock bolts. I'm looking for opinions/experiences on whether I really need to have car re-aligned. BTW, I did change wheels/tires, but don't think that, by itself, would require alignment. I have 14K and the previous tires were wearing evenly. I don't really want someone messing with it if it's not needed.
Most places don't charge anythign to check your alignment, it wouldn't hurt to check it and see what's up. I just had my alignment done and it was WAAY off, with lots of toe-in so i figure that's why i've never had tires last as long as they should.
If you have absolutely no wear issues, I wouldn't spend the money. If the car has been lowered, I would def have it checked. I had an alignment done recently after new tires because I had a wear issue on the right front. If the wear was completely even, I wouldn't have.
Does anyone have a link to a tutorial about what camber and toe (alignments) and what they mean and how they affect the wear of your tires as well as the handling of your car?
