Default Mouse problem

We have a mouse that is a regular visitor to our car. He has carried some of our dog's food and left it inside the console...it makes a racket when the fan comes on. My question is...how do I get the food out of the car without taking the dash apart? I'll get the mouse with the trap that was shown here earlier, but cannot find anything about getting rid of what the mouse leaves behind. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Vaccuum?

Put mothballs in the car... Mice hate the smell of mothballs

Hide all the other food, so the mouse has to eat what's in your dashboard. Just hope he comes out before having to relieve himself

Geesh ... Doesn't everything hate the smell of mothballs.

I wouldn't even put one in my garage, that stench is aweful.

If the car is parked in a garage, try using a sonic pest repeller. These work great on rodents and will keep them out of the area.

Ok ... I can't help myself ... apologies in advance ....

just send a very small, hungry dog down through the air vents?

I put Irish Spring soap inside my car and in the engine compartment when I store it. I haven't had a mice problem since and I always feel refreshingly clean.

Hopefully you can catch the critter quickly. Then take the console loose. It is not that hard and directions can be found on the Vette Essentials web site.
