My GF came from Japan and brought back a magazine called "A-power" short for American-power. Some of you might have seen this but for others like me, this is a first.
Unfortunately I don't know how to post pics of the magazine so here is the next best thing. Below are a couple of weblinks to the Corvette tuners-shops that were featured in the magazine:
They have some really cool parts... Not to big on the single exhaust with the alum. covering the hole. But its great to see other contries play with the american dream. Look how PHAT the german corvette is.
On the statement they are Rice, we must be HOT DOGS...american past time.

i'm an engineer for honda and drive a vette. my co-work has a viper. the japanese guys that work here in the states love them. they are in awe of the "so many l(r)iters". ...of course, being car guys, they love their home grown nsx, rx-7s, and skilines too.
Would not think a Vette would go well in the land of the rising sun.
The island isn't big enough to get up any speed before you fall off the edge..
Actually, they have a decent expressway system, but very expensive to use. Six years living on the southern main island, never saw a radar trap on an expressway. Expressway troopers drive around in Barney Fife sedans, wearing yellow safety helmets - not very intimidating.
If you look, you can find some great mountain roads. Narrow, but fun if you have enough chuztpah.
Very interesting, but not too surprising. These are world class cars, especially recently. What car guy could not be impressed with the small block V8? Add the corvette styling and character,.... whats not to love?
