I had a battery go bad after 6 months. Dealer dropped in a new one. Been fine for the last the 3 months. EXCEPT, I have seen that fault message 2-3 times since. Same line from my dealer 'nothing to worry about'

I have had this happen 2 or 3 times when it is super hot outside and when the AC is pumping right after I turn on the car. I have read that it is most common on very hot days as the alternator isn't keeping up when the car is first turned over. Happened about 2 years ago the very first time. I know this isn't too much help, but so far nothing bad has happened electronically <knock on wood>
This may sound wierd but I used to have that issue if I didnt let the gauges complete their sweep before starting. After waiting for the sweep to complete I have not had the issue.
I get the "Charge System Fault" often and yes no DIC codes with it.
I had the original battery changed - Still received the message
A few weeks later the dealer changed the alternator - Still received the message
About 2 months ago I put an Optima red top in - Still receive the message
So all in all I’ve never found an answer. I tell the dealer about the message every time I take the Vette in. Rather it be for a problem or an oil change.
