TSB for sticky trunk lid ?
Anyone know the TSB # that refers to getting the second survo put on the trunk of an '03 that came with only one survo ?
I've tried everything, WD-40 on the hindges and latch, silicone on the weather stripping, the only thing left is to try the second servo.

Before I added grease, I could push my trunk down but not latch it, and it still would not pop back up. After the grease, I could push it down to just short of latching, and it will pop back up every time. I think there was too much friction in the pop up spring causing it to bind up. Of course, a little grease on the latch assembly will also help.

Thanks for the tips. I just finished putting a drop or two of oil in strategic places on the hinges and fastener and now it works like a charm. I might caution against getting too liberal with any kind of spray lube since the cockpit will probably smell for a few days.
