Just got rid of my visors. Look where the visor meets the windshield header. There is a small slot where a flat blade screwdriver will fit. Rlease the visor from the retaining clip. Fold the visor down. Take a small flat head screwdriver and insert into the slot. Holding the screwdriver in place, turn the driver's side visor outward. You will see a small ridge. This will catch the screwdriver blade. Keep turning. By the time you hit 90 degress the visor will come loose. Then release the electrical connector and shove back into the hole. I covered the holes with black painted self adhesive 1.25" plastic pads that you put under chair legs to prevent scratching available at any Lowe's or HD. Unfortunately unlike Miatas, nobody in the Vette world seems to make visor blanks to fill the holes. It looks pretty stock though.

Hope you have better luck removing your visor than I did. I followed the procedure as stated on teck tips and couldn't get visor to drop out no matter what. I guess I just have one stubborn M/F visor.
