Default C5ers...

How many frequent posters in C5 Gen have you met and kept in touch with on a regular basis?

I can think of about 4 members that I talk with occasionally on IM or in person, and a couple that I talk with on a regular basis about things other than vettes.

Significant Others don't count

The forum is not widely known about here in Lafayette, at least among the folks I have talked to. I have run across one or two that are aware of it, but for most folks I talk to, I have to explain to them what an internet forum is. One thing I have noticed is that the regional forums are really good, but as for Louisiana we are kind of "tweeners" We are technically in the Southeast, but it is a long ways to the east coast from here. Texas is in the Southwest folder, which is really more relavent for us, but most Louisiana members would not think to read the Southwest forum. (arizona, New Mexico come more to mind.) The point is that many down here could not relate to the regional stuff. I hope to meet some of the guys on here when I go to the "Cruise in" on Memorial Weekend in BG, plus it will be a great time to go for my first long trip in my recently acquired C-5. Anyway, sorry the message is so long..

I keep in touch with several forum members. Plus,if you go to the cruise-in in BG,you get to meet lots of members annually.
