My DTE 3.90 differential was just delivered! I went with the Stage 2 rear end and added the Billet Pinion Shaft Support to the package. I already have their strut brace, so hopefully I'll be ready for a few passes at the track very soon.

Not to be a party pooper but that carrier looks like a 2.73. The rib running down the center of the top is a dead give away. The 3.42 carrier has three ribs for increased strength. Just my .02 cents maybe thats the only way to get the 3.90's to work in the chunk. It probably has a spacer on the ring gear also. But you have the brace so it should be ok. Not dissing it but thought I would throw in my opionion. But everbody knows how those go. Opinions are like A holes everybody got one.

Incorrect...
The 3.42, the 3.15 and the 2.73 differentials ALL have the possibility of having a single rib along the top of the case and that design is not only limited to the 2-series units.
