Halltech ?
Two questions about the halltech intake.
Mine definitely rubs against the hoodliner. I think I have rotated it so it is as low as possible, but it still rubs against the hoodliner. Any suggestions?
Also, what do you do to clean the element and how often?

I have the halltech system on my Z06 and had the same problem. Someone on the Z06Vette forums suggested that I try heating it up a little and reforming it. They had done it and were quite successful with it. I was a little hesitant but after trying everything else I figured I had nothing to lose.
Guess what, it worked.
I used a hair dryer to soften up the plastic just enough to reform it a little. It took a few attempts to get it low enough to clear the hood but it actually worked out pretty good. Hope this is helpful. Best of luck.
