Default What is considered "average mileage"????

I have an '04 coupe with 8400 miles. It will be 2 years old in July. I know the average for most vehicles is between 12,000-15,000 miles per year, but what is considered average for a Vette? Don't know if I'm above or below the average.

We've had our 2004 Corvette convertible for 17 months and it has 3540 miles. That would average out to 2499 miles per year.

Mine is my daily driver, fortunately I have a short commute. I'll probably put about 6000 to 7000 miles per year.

Lots of people use their Vettes as daily drivers and it's a wonderful way to get back and forth from work. Even more people treat their cars as "Garage Queens". Either way is great, you can probally estimate the mileage yourself. Personally, I'm somewhere in between. I drive on alot of nice days, no rain or snow. I'm at about 5K a year.

about that for me. It isn't my daily. I split time between the vette and jeep depending on whether and what I'm doing (don't take the vette to Home Depot for flowers or wood...).

My '01 was my daily driver, put ~17k per year on it, bought it in mid 2000 and deprecition was insane...

2004 Convertible.... daily driver.....
29,950 miles in the last 13 months
works out to 27,650 miles per year.....
.... would have been more but 8 international trips last year took out a couple months.

I live in Dallas and commute to Houston every week

Many of us who live up North only use them 6 months a year. I use my WRX as my dailly driver year round and the Corvette for fun in the summer. I'll probably still put 6,000 miles a year on it.

My last Vette a C-4 I averaged 8k a year and I've only had my C-5 since X-mas and we haven't had that many good days and I've put 3k on already and mine is a garage queen, I enjoy my C-5 so much more .

I have had mine for a year now and have put almost 5000 miles on her. That includes the 1000 miles I drove during the first 2 weeks I had it. I just couldnt get enough of driving in the vette. They are meant to be driven. I am taking it down to bowling green in may so that will tack on another 2500. It will be an exciting trip though.

I put 17,000 on mine this past year. It's a DD and when I travel to client's offices it's quite a haul.

I bought mine 7 months ago and put 10,000 miles on it already. And it was down for mods about 6 weeks and I travelled for about 6 weeks - So I'll probably average 20,000 a year is my guess. Oh, and this is not my DD

Every mile in your vette should put a smile on your face. Given that you should drive it whenever you can. Who cares about average miles

I put on about 1,500 miles a year. I currently have 18,700 on the odometer. It had 11,600 on it when I purchased it in 2000.
