You need to head to Lowes and look for the "Tear Drop" shapped black polyeurothayne weatherstrip with adhesive backing. I believe it's about 15.00 or so and roughly 72 inches in length. You'll just have to measure it and cut it down to size before applying. Very simple procedure. Takes all of approx two minutes for the entire process. If you make a mistake, dont worry. You've got 72 inches to work with.
Ok im lost. I went to home depot and lowes and cant find it. Who makes it and where in the store is it, i went to where all the weather striping is and nothing close and prices are way off. Is it supposed to be for a door or a window? I asked for help and they all had no idea.
do you need to do the weather strip with the zip tie mod ,what does the weather stripping do to benefit the air cleaner ,I would think any air getting through the gap in the hood would mean more cold air into the filter I just put a zip tie on with the K&N?
