I got a catalog from them yesterday. Prices were unreal to say the least. You can do alot better elseware and still pay the Vette tax.

There's always one in the crowd...........

IMHO Ken and Sandy King of Vette Essentials are unparalleled. From top-notch leather, true color matching to the factory interior, workmanship, pride, uniqueness permitted by personal customer specifications, customer satisfication, scope of product line, free on-line instructions ( :o ) that folks can use for competitive products or DIY projects, and even occasional free giveaways and free installs, there has been no "elseware" [sic] indicated on this Forum where you do better.

And, not to mention the smell of that leather, even years after it's installed!

If you want top notch, you should pay for it, plain and simple. If you want a compromise, that's fine, but don't expect to pay compromise dollars to a vendor that does not itself compromise.

Well said, Steve! It reminds me of a saying that I have hanging in my office by John Ruskin:

"There is nothing in the world that some man cannot make a little worse or sell a little cheaper, and he who considers price only is that man's lawful prey."

For those of you who have never had the pleasure of talking with Ken King are missing out. Whenever I talk to him I can hear the passion to make the best product with no compromises available. Spending several thousand dollars is not for everyone, whether it is because they cannot afford it or simply choose not to spend.

Personally - my interior needs work, and after almost two years here on the Forum, I knew exactly what I wanted and who I wanted to buy it from. For those of you thinking about buying VE, you won't be sorry.

I always say, if you want good oats, you've got to be willing to pay a high price for them. If you're willing to accept oats that have already been through the horse once, they're usually much cheaper.

Ken and Sandy's work is next to none. My interior looks as good today, as the day I put it in.

Here's to you Ken & Sandy.

We don't have a catalog? nor a price list other than the website?

Corvette Tax? If we charge any less for my product you wont have to worry about our prices because VE won't be around.
Alot better for less? better than custom made Italian leather? Better than a perfect color match to the factory colors? All items in all leather no vinyl? All items custom made to order in any color combination you choose, including GM Logo's?
Our products and prices aren't for everyone but saying we can be beat for less, I'd like to know who?
Not trying to bust anyone's chops just standing up for my products and the customers that believe and found out that our products are worth the money.

By the way guy's speaking of Quality. VE will be selling Autobuffs painted engine covers as of this week! It will take a couple of weeks to get them up on the site but we will be the exclusive suppier of Autobuffs painted engine packages. Noel is back and ready to go.

Ken

Ken and Sandy are amazing; I loved my Vette Essentials C5 interior.

Can't wait for the C6 products.

People won't get much love if they come on here and talk dirty about VE......

You really have no freakin' clue man.

You get what you pay for, trust me. These products are amazing. The fact that you posted what you did tells me you've never even had the opportunity to examine their products in person.

Thanks Ken and Sandy for the great products you provide. I've had nothing but compliments since I got my interior pieces. I hope to do the seats sometime this summer.

If VE prices were to high he would not be in business today. Its because of the quality, service, and price is what made VE the great company that they are. You will always find one or two people that dont like it...oh well, he didnt get 2 peoples business, but making the masses happy as Ken and Sandy have speaks for itself..
Keep up the good work you two...Looking forward in Representing your company...............................

Some companies who sell for less, know what their product is worth. I'd kill for a set of VE seats....someday.....I'll have them.

I just completed my first purchase from Ken at VE.
They are good people over there...and they stand by what they sell, even if it happens to be something that they don't do themselves (like the Hydra-graphic carbon fiber interior stuff).
...The console and radio surround are gonna look shiney and sweet once I make the time to put them in.

Remember, they recently moved their opperation to a new location. Anything real good...is worth waiting for. Heck, I had to wait 3 months for my vette to be built.
