was at wal-mart today& seen a Scosche I-pod connector which plugs into the cig. lighter ,seen some guys posts about other ways but this one works great ,just set the channel at 88.1,88.3,88.5,88.7& likewise on the connector, you can use the cig. lighter in the glove for a hidden look ,it works great & is $17.
Does it still sound like butt like so many other FM transmitters?
Wasnt gonna get 1 after reading about bad sound here, but tried it & was impressed,it sounds as if the cd is in the unit, for $17 its very good, also if you dont like it for some reason its gotta wallyworld return, the good thing is you can move it from car to car.
I have a damn 50 dollar (they screwed me on the rebate as usual) belkin that can be set from like 88.1 to 107.x, i use a dell pocket dj with. The nice thing is you can set the frequency to whatever is clear, but it has no internal amp, so you either must over drive the mp3 player or overdrive the radio, which sucks when you turn it off. Also, this thing turns its self off while you look for tunes, and doesnt like to turn back on (bug). Still deciding if its worth the cash....

I tried one of those and wasn't impressed with the sound. I ended up buying one of these . It uses the CD Changer connection in the back storage. I figured I don't mind losing 12discs of music for 20gigs of mp3 music. With this I can keep the iPod hidden and use the standard radio buttons to control the iPod.
yeah, sound's decent when its full blast on a clear station, but its not clear enough for the cost... I still cant believe they screwed me on the rebate
