Was headed north on I-75 in central Georgia this past weekend....driving the "family" car. Looked in my rear view and saw a MY C5 closing fast....real fast.
I moved over to the center lane (from the fast lane) and just barely got a quick glance as they blew by (I was doing about 10 over at the time, passing a truck).
It looked like an older couple (she was driving) but I really couldn't tell.
Didn't see the state they were from, but the tag read "Our RV".
If you're a forum member, no offense meant, I just got a good chuckle out of seeing you two "fly" by me.
Love the look on the faces of the little ricer boys who get their paint blown off by the "old lady" in the corvette. Havent figured out why they dont stick around for round 2.

When my wife first got her Z06, she wanted the vanity plate "GRANNYZ" - unfortunately, someone already had "GRANNY2" so CA wouldn't give her the plate, because of their "look-alike" rule.
After the Z06, she got a new GTO (6-speed) so she'd have room for grandkids in the back seat. It's no Z06, but it is a sweet little car!
a neighbor of ours drives an '04 C5 coupe... she's WELL in her 60's and it's HER car. i say.. go for it. hope i'm still driving one when i'm a "granny".
I agree but ya gotta admit... kinda funny <cool> to see an older woman driving behind the wheel of a corvette. Nothing wrong with it, just not something you see every day.
In fact, my mother (who is 68 and lucky if she's 5 foot) test drove a Viper GTS last summer. I had to TALK HER OUT OF IT... she was literally going to buy it as a daily driver...
I think some of my hotrod mentality has rubbed off on her...lol.
