Anyone try this?
I'd like to put an air intake on but don't want to spend 250+. I was curious if anyone has bought one of the cheap dual cone intakes on ebay and simply replaced the filters with K&N. Seems by doing this you could have a decent intake for under 150. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think there was some restrictions in the tubing and something about a reduction in pipe diameter...if you are interested- I may have a Donaldson Blackwing for sale in your price range...its a takeoff from a fellow forum member...I am buying a Haltech Stinger so I woun't be needing this filter...there is another member considering it- but if he passes...maybe we can talk...
