My Passenger side turn signal is out, that also means my DRL is only working on one side
I have tried to replace the bulb but I am not sure how it comes out. I know this is a stupid question, but I could really use some help.
Thanks Guys
When I changed mine, I had to go in from underneath the car. There wasnt enough room next to the headlight for me to my hand down there to change the bulb. Only takes a couple of minutes, loosening screws and then you can reach right up and take it out...

I went through the brake vent, it's right there and accessable.
Push the duct back and down, reach up and find the light, twist and change the bulb...reverse the process. It takes a little doing and you don't need any tools, but small hands help! 10 minutes tops. This is for the turn signal, the driving light required putting it on a rack and again, VERY small hands help!!!!
I went in thru the headlight also. It's tough to hold socket with one hand and push bulb in with other. Not much room. I held the socket with pliers which allowed my other hand to insert bulb.
How does the bulb come out? Just twist or is there a lock device with a tab that needs to be held down in order to turn it?
Thanks Guys
There is a tab to press and then twist. The socket is positioned somewhat up into the hole so it drops down instead of the normal outward pull.
I mention this because I didn't notice until I replaced it that the socket goes up into the hole instead of the usual sideways insert.
After you've replaced the bulb either from the "above mode" (i.e. opening the hood, raising your headlamp, removing the hood bumper stopper and reaching in), or the "below method" (removing about 8 screws, etc. and removing the access panel) or moving the brake duct --that seems really hard and then what if you can't get the brake duct back into position?
Anyway...your next step would be to remove fuse #2 under the hood --fuse box located next to your battery. Removing that fuse will disable the DRLs from working and it will not permit all of your approach lights to flash when your unlocking at night....but just think of it...your bulbs will last a heck of a lot longer and you won't have to go through this experience that often. Another bennie is that you will no longer have those bright yellow lights (DRLs) telling every waiting law enforcement officer that a GM sportscar (Camaro, Firebird, or Vette) is coming down that road...the DRLs give him/her a great target to shoot at with radar/laser...he just lines it up between the two bright glowing lights. Go stealth!!
Unless you have very slender arms, go through the bottom panel. The socket will be just above the brake duct. Move the duct, remove the socket and replace the bulb. Piece of cake...and, no scratched up arms!!
Thank You. These methods all seem do-able and will definately help me correct this uneven balance of amber lights(most important) and fix my disabled turn signal. Just 1 more question,
Does anyone know the bulb number so I can go and pick one up from my local autoparts store?
