Aggressive Launches???
I have a stock '02 Z and have had it to the track a few times with the street tires on it. I have not had any really good 60' times, so I thought I may try something different. I've got a set of ET Streets mounted on 16" Z28 wheels that I want to mount on it the next time that I go to the track.
I have been through a couple 10 bolts and a 9" at the track with my last car and really did not want to tear anything up on the Z just yet. I just wanted to get some idea on how aggressive I could be on the launches and get by with it.

If we knew when we were going to break, no one would ever break! I broke on DR's w/ just a Vararam & a tune. I now have ET streets & have launched harder & so far so good. I also got hardened replacement parts & a DTE brace.
The ET Streets have some give in them as they're softer than the DR's. You should be OK unless you're going to do red line dumps! But how ever you launch, you never know!
Stock form should hold up in theory.

Thanks for he reply. I cannot wait to go back to the track and get some more seat time in the car.
I had plans of going today, but it is looking like ran all day.
BTW.... I just watched a vid of your car running 11.60's , I think.
