Corvette versus Pedterbilt
This proves the Big Butt is a safer butt. This myopic truck driver smacked the heck out of us...and lost! The impact bent his bumper, but only scuffed and cracked the paint on Red. The bumper cover will have to be repainted, but I expected the whole rear end to pushed in. And, naturally, it happened as we were leaving for the Hot Springs Corvette Weekend. (Great weekend!!) Luckily the damage was barely noticable. What a car!!!!
(This is my first attempt at posting a photo, and I don't actually expect it to work.)

If he bent his bumper, you have a lot of internal damage.

Actually, I had it thoroughly checked. He hit directly on the shock absorber honeycomb, which worked as designed. Maybe Peterbilts need better bumpers.

That doesn't look good when first viewed. Glad the damage was minimal. There sure are a lot of accident posts in the last two weeks.

You are very lucky. I would have expected much more damage.
