Looking for polyurethane swaybar bushings: front 30mm, rear 23.6mm. (Z06 sizes)
What all would be included in the kit for the C5?
Are there polyurethane bushings for the springs?
Thanks!
Try these guys for poly Z06 sway bar bushings: http://www.vbandp.com/
When I contacted them in March, they gave me these part numbers - 97211 and 97012
I just ordered a kit from zip(supporting vendor) that includes all control arm bushings and leaf spring pads in red for 89.99( $10.00 cheaper than elsewhere and i like the red even though noone but me is going to see it). The sway bar bushings are about the same everywhere @14.99 each.
by the way anyone got a line on diy for doing the swap? I can fidle around for hours and get it done or read someone elses instructions and get it done in half the time.
The sway bar bushings are relatively easy to change. I just put them in last week. I did use the poly U grease that came with the bushings. I was told if you don't use the grease they will squeek. The grease came with the bushings. If you take the end link apart, "you really don' t need to take it off",, there is a 40 tork used to keep the ball socket from turning. If you don't hold the ball with the tork and you remove the nut you can damage the boot, But don't worry Ecklers sells an upgraded endlink with new boots.
BTW,, Did I mention,, mine had new upgraded end links.
