what drag radials to use
Just purchased a EB 2002 Zo6 vette. Added vararam Intake, Kook's
1 3/4 long tube headers & hi flow cats & computer retuning. I hear Mickey Thompson street radials are the newest & best tire for the drag strip, but they don't make them 295/35/18 I see that BF Goodrich makes that size on their drag tire. I need to drive 75 miles to the track so I need drag radials.
What Is the BEST tire for my Zo6 that comes in my stock size

I ran 11.55 on BFG 315.35.17 Comp TA.
I changed to ET Street Radials and dropped my time to 11.52.
Not a big difference. The MT Radials are a little more consistent.
But I felt a lot more secure on the streets on BFGs than the MT Radials. And the MT are definitely harder on your clutch because they require about 700-1000 higher launch rpm, which will take its toll.
