$30-32k would be the range I'd expect for an 02 coupe.

Having recently searched for a vette similar to what you are looking for... I would say this time of year you can expect to pay around $31K for that car (private party). Be patient and don't give into the premium dealerships are going to charge for buying a sports car this time of year. There are always good deals out there somewhere. Good luck!!!

Keep saving.....I agree that you're going to need to be in the low 30s for a 2002

I bought a 2002 black coupe in near mint condition about 2 months back with 19,700 miles for $29K. I thought it was a pretty good deal.

BTW I love my coupe.

For $20k, IMHO you'll get a 97-98 with average mileage.

Again just IMHO

I think he meant he was looking for a car with a max of 20k miles on it.

Thanks for all your help..I've seen a few nice ones but I figured not worth the $34-37K range..I might be better off waiting until the fall season to get one..Not a rush for summer since I'm moving to Florida in Sept..Thanks again for all your help guys.

I found mine on the AOL car section. You can go to aol.com and search for the car without being an aol member. I had to travel 400 miles to buy mine, but it was worth it, I got a great car. I had mine checked out by Corvettes of Dallas for $75.00, (this is a branch of Corvettes of Houston,) but some will get other forum members to check out a car they find out of town. Do not give up, your dream car is out there for the right price. Don't wait until summer is over, this is Corvette weather!

Good hunting
