Default Window Valet

US Postal just delivered my Window Valet correcting the only thing I don't love about my vert. Now if I can just convince the wife that I'm dusting under the dash when I install it tonight. If she buys that, I'll tell her I'm adjusting the front bumper bearings when I install the Z06 screens.

Installs in mere seconds. Just wait until she turns her head and pretend you fell or something and plug it in. Your on your own for the screens.

Just get the orientation right and plug the dag gone thing in ...
Sooner or later, you'll have to explain how your windows go up and down by themselves

Just install it - take 5 minutes playing with the DIC (not your's - the car's! ) and you're done.

Just like in the military - this is on need to know basis. If you don't tell her, she won't know. If she happens to notice - just tell her that's the way the car works (partial truth, that's the way it should have come from the factory!)

Enjoy it!

So this feature enables you to turn the car off, get out, put the top up and close the door and then raise the windows???? I hate that with the vert i have to leave the car running until the top is up to put the windows up. This sounds like a fix!! It won't mess with any dyno tuning that was done will it???

Yep, and it won't mess with your existing dyno tune.

Kris, it is really a great little unit. Especially for convertible owners. It should have come stock from the factory this way

Great mod, even for a Z06. Quick, fast, and painless.

...and I thought the sequential turn signals were easy.
This is the easiest thing I've ever done to a car. So simple but so effective.

It's C5 specific. If you want to unplug it from one C5 and put in another go right ahead.

Just installed it. READ THE DIRECTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE YOU START. Once I went back and read them it took 3 minutes to program.

What a neat piece. Everyone says that GM should have built the car this way...I agree.

Thanks Jeff at Elite Engineering. Great price for a great product.

It stays in the car. The piece plugs into the computer plug outlet under the dash.
