Has anybody every used The Vette Net either for selling or buying? Any feedback, positive or negative? I'm thinking about using them to sell the Z06, but I've never heard of them. Looking for some non-employee feedback. Thanks!
I purchased my c5 using the Vette Net. Basically, your put in touch with a dealer that has the car your looking for. You can negotiate with the dealer directly. I would recommend them.
I bought my new 2003 Z06 through Ken, a few years ago. It was the best pressure free, car buying experience I've ever had! I had one moment of fear as my credit union sent off the check. But Ken calmed my nerves and everything went great. He even helped to get the car shipped right to my front door.
My next new Vette will be through Ken at the Vette Net!

I bought mine through Captain Ken, too! Besides being a helluva nice guy, he's one of us and he's a totally self made man! This is a very interesting article about his origins.... http://www.thevettenet.com/press.htm
Ken helped me though every phase of the transaction and most importantly - he was a non emotional voice that kept me grounded and thinking rationally when I was face to face with excitement of buying my first Vette. Have Ken help you and you won't be sorry!
I concur with all the above posts -- Ken helped me buy an out-of-state car, took care of all the paperwork (title, warranty transfer, bill of sale, money transfer, etc) and arranged the shipping. I'd heartily recommend them.
I bought my Vette thru Ken 2 years ago this week. It was the most stress free purchasing experience I ever have experienced.
I am in NY, and bought my car in Florida. I was lucky enough to have Ken see the car in person. He sent me about 30 pictures, I negoiated with him directly, and sent the owner a deposit with the stipulation that if the car was underdescribed, that I can walk away with my deposit refunded. Ken kept on saying I wouldnt be dissapointed. Well, he was right on target. The pics didnt even do my baby justice. Needless to say, it was a blast driving my car home 1500 miles with my wife who was 4 months pregnant at the time, up the east coast. Definately an experience I will never forget.
By dealing with Ken, you are in good hands.
Bought my 99 coupe from them back in 2001 sight unseen. It was by far the best car, deal and experience I have ever had buying a vette. Ken is an asset to this community. You can trust him and his offerings as if you were buying from your mother.
Here's a photo of my delivery back in May 2001 with Ken.
I drove from St Louis to Kansas City to buy the car. We worked the entire deal to include my trade via e-mail and two phone calls in less than 48 hours. I'm proud to say I know Ken and consider him a friend.
I have fond menories of Ken, the car and the story on how I found the VETTE Net and purchased my car. And Ken's story in itself is a must read. Talk about the American Dream.

Bought our 03 through Ken and just recently sold my 93 through him. Best buying/selling experience I've ever had. Was so impressed that my son (with my assistance) is now working for Ken.
