Doors lock when starting car.

Default Doors lock when starting car.
Hello all, I have a 01' vert with auto tranny. The problem is that I unlock car with key fob and when I start the car, the doors lock immediately before putting in gear. Could it be programing issue or a bad door lock module? I couldn't find anything in the manual that explains this option.

Please reply with any ideas.

you can program that with the DIC

Read in your manual and go into the DIC control center. Under configure options, you can tell it to automatically lock.

Mine don't lock till I take off and am doing 5 or 10 mph then they lock.

That's how I have mine set, although somehow today, I started up the car & went inside to get something only to find out that I was locked out???
Good thing I was home & able to get the spare key fob!!!
