I've had the Vette for less than two weeks and have already installed a 170 degree t-stat and ordered: CAGS by-pass switch, Halltech Stinger and skids for the front frame rails. Already trying to determine which exhaust to buy and maybe a front-end cover, and painting the calipers will happen this weekend!. Anyone make recommendations on where the best deal for decal type letters to fill-in "Corvette" on the tail.

Mods- additive and fun.

Driving this car is the most fun one can have with their clothes on!!!

Welcome to the mod-aholics group!! It just gets worse and worse... A lot of guys has the SS inserts for the back lettering, I'm sure one of them will chime in!

Default Bumper Inserts

Welcome aboard!

Tried the SS inserts but I didn't feel they went well with my car. I ordered vinyl black reflective decals and they look sharp at night. They are black during the day which is a good contrast to the pewter exterior. When someone is following at night, the decals glow!

Try this; then that; it never ends! What's next??

Once you start modding, you will find it very hard to stop. For the rear letters, I went with a set of the brakelight red epoxy ones from Mid-America. Very nice looking set on the car.

Congrats! I know just how you feel. I haven't made my first payment yet, and have done lots of mods already. I've had UPS and Fedex dropping off stuff every week since i got it. It's great. I got SS inserts for my car. I love the look, they go nice with my chrome wheels. I've got the Halltech Stinger also. Definately adds some grunt. I'm gonna get some new exhaust soon also. I'm leaning towards BB Bullets or Corsa Indy's. They both sound awesome.

Welcome...

I went with SS Inserts a couple of weeks ago. I felt the gold letters went well with my Anniversary Red paint. I used the dealer code for the 10% discount. So far, I'm very happy with them.
