Default Vert Is At MTI

I dropped off the vert at MTI this morning to have them install a set of Kooks headers, Kooks X-pipe, high flow cats, a Yank 3000 T/C and an update on my Dyno tune. They have promised to have the work completed by 4:00PM today. Not a bad turn for the work they are doing.

I can't wait to hear what the Kooks system will sound like through the Corsa Indy's. I suspect I may have a traction problem on street tires with the TC. Let the fun begin!!!!!

Congrats! I love my Kooks.

Added Dynatechs to my Indy's a couple of weeks ago. It really wakes the exhaust up. I can still creep into the neighborhood but at 3-6k RPM - WHOOPIE!!!!!

I love the sound of he Kooks with the Indy's. It has added a lower tone at low RPM's and a dogs of hell scream when you get on it. At cruise it still is tame which I enjoy.

The car feels totaly different with the TC and LT's. It is like I aded another 75-100 HP.

I only punched it hard once and that was at 40 MPH. The rear started to slide a little bit and when I looked in the rear view mirror I saw smoke. The most amazing thing was this was with the traction control on.

I am going to have to re-learn how to drive this thing and develop some respect for it. The crazy part is in the back of my mind I am thinking about my next mod which will either stealth 2 or a C2 cam. More to come!!!!

They had quoted me two days for the same mods along with a head a cam package. They know what they are doing (thus can get it done promptly) and strive to meet the customers needs.

It took them 3 months to get my car to this point. I know some projects such as mine takes more time than your average person but I want my car....LOL There quality is one of the best in the LS industry.

Congrats! Good to hear this type of turn out, I'm putting in a yank 3200, supermaxx header kit, and 3.42s tomorrow. So I hope it turns out just as good. And like you the next mod is a H/C package w/ them, but let me know which cam you go with so I can get an idea of how it turned out. I might be going with a comp cam though (224 228 .581 .588 114), but we'll see. I should be up there in 2 weeks, maybe we can hit the track together.

Congrats Ron, I took the same steps as you. Did the Kooks and then a month later I had MTI do the H&C. The H&C will make a hugh difference in power and sound also.
