What is going on that weekend? You know my son REALLY wants to go up, in fact I am thinking about taking him up for the Cruise in. We will see.

Todd, Labor day is the anniversary of the NCM. This year is the 11th annual. It is similar to the goings on during the birthday bash. There are vendors, road tours, drags, autox, seminars...here's a link.

The center caps are basically chrome. They don't look too bad with the machined/clearcoated face on the wheels. But you are right, they would look perfect if they were machined.
