No dash Lights - Any Ideas?

No dash Lights - Any Ideas?
I turned on my headlights tonight and have headlights but no dash illumination. However, I do have the radio station indicator (but not the background illumination) and also climate control indicator (also without background illumination) --- the dimmer control does not adjust their brightness. At first guess it seems like the headlight switch may be the problem - perhaps bad contacts.
Anyone have this experience or any trouble shooting ideas?

Did you check you fuses?

It was too dark by the time I got home to start pulling things apart. However I will be taking a look first thing tomorrow.
Fuse 19 - in the passenger side fuse box or the fuse box under the hood near the battery?
