Default Do C5s have a "valet" key?

Just wondering cause when I get mine (even before I mod it) I know some punk in a restaurant valet or whatever is going to want to take it for a spin....

Oh I'll be counting the miles but, still, once it's done...it's done...I want to try to avoid it...

C5's don't do "valet".

Park it yourself where it will be safe.

Oh, well then sorry because I'll give my business to the competition across the street because they can actually park their own cars.

That might not go over too well...

"listen, I know we just got a divorce but I was wondering if I could borrow your car so I can valet it at Smith & Wollensky's where I'll be taking this lovely young lady you see here"

There's verbiage in the user's manual warning against valet parking. No, really!

No, not really. But maybe there should be.

I dined at a Valet Only restaurant for a company function. I gave the guy $10 to direct me to a spot where I can park the car myself.

I tend to stay away from Valet Only though. Somehow that Seinfeld episode just sticks to my mind.

The movie "Ferris Buellers Day Off" comes to mind. I also wish the corvette had a valet mode where it had alot less power and could only be driven up to 3K RPM'S.

I slip the kid a ten, and say "Point me to the furthest spot in your lot."

Do you mean the valet option like the ZR1's have? Where you can cut the horsepower? If that's what you mean....then no, C5's don't have that option.

No valet key on the C5. Just keep track of the mileage when you drop it off.

Still wouldn't help it when he squeezes it in between two ricers and then bangs their doors into you getting them out.
