Question about wheels
What is the gain of going to larger wheels? Lots of you have 18s/19s. Can you tell the difference in ride? Is performance enhanced. Do you just want larger wheels?

Traction and looks are the two main reasons. A wider tire will give you more grip. There are drawbacks though, some aftermarket wheels can be very heavy which will increase unsprung weight. Using nonrunflats sometimes balances things out but sometimes it doesn't. More unsprung weight can lead to slightly slower acceleration, longer braking distances and less handling. GM's thin spokes are actually one of the lightest wheels you can find at roughly 19lbs front/21lbs rear.
