Well, I have decided that I am a C5 fanatic enough to do my office in all the C5 glory... Couple of things..
IF there is anyone that has a fully engulfed C5 room, please post pictures so that I may get some ideas..
but here is my main theme.....
Black and White on two opposite walls, and Torch Red on the other two... in the middle of the torch red on one side, I will stencil a large set of flags, and hand paint them, on the other, a display shelf with all my models and knick knacks... then of course... buy all the additional knick knacks and patty whacks from Supporting Venders and place them in my room... that is where I want to start it... when I put my ceiling fan in, it will too be painted black/white with hand painted flags on each of the white blades, (or actual emblems glued on, which I think would kick ****)
Comments, suggestions, good or bad, let me have em... the idea for the checkered black/white wall and torch red idea? thoughts?
and of course posters as I find appropriate, and last of all, when available, (Corvette forum.com banner) since you guys made me the nut I am today...

I've got a Corvette clock in my rec. room near the pool table. Every hour it plays Corvette sounds. Reving engines and burn outs. There are pictures of Vettes instead of numbers. This is a must have for any legitimate C-5 room. Also, somewhere I got a throw blanket wityh pictures of Corvettes woven into the cloth. And don't forget the Corvette lamp. Definately a must have.

Please show which vette lamp... I am on the prowl for cool Vette "toys" to put on my desk

OK...You asked.
With all due respect, if it were me, I'd spend all that time and effort on the garage area instead putting it into a room inside the house. Or have you given your garage the C5 treatment already?
I've seen lots of pics of really nicely done garages with the checkerboard design floors, big C5 emblems painted on the walls, etc. etc. To me, that is more appropriate and fitting. Plus, your Vette would feel more at home in a nicely done garage environment.
Having said all that, I'm sure you'll enjoy your Vette office and I wish you good luck with it. Show some pics when you're done.

Ive Definately thought of that, My only thought is, My garage is exposed to the elements (only when garage door is open) but it is dusty, damp (sometimes) and I don't spend that much time in it... My office, on the other hand, is clean, I spend nearly all my time in here... and I could put all the little things on my desk, walls and doors and windows.. and they would stay nice and clean and I can use them and enjoy them on a regular basis, other than just walking in and out of the garage... Mind you, this theme originated in the garage, it has evolved into the Office for that very reason.. My office is MY space... I can enjoy the hell out of all that I have (or will) create, but I don't have to force it upon my guests, its my own little hideaway, that can be enjoyed by all if desired...
BUT:
I might just do em both! May do the Garage in the closest I can get to Electron Blue/ check flag.. (cuz hopefully I will have an EB Z06 shortly) and do the office in Torch Red, soely because why wouldn't you have a torch red when doing a C5 theme. Then I can get a Leather chair, and throw on some "mod red" look, and the whole nine yards, but the Torch red would be saved for the office, and a more subtle Blue could be used in the Garage

Cool!
My thing is that I spend lots of time in the garage. It's like an extension of my house and it's not dusty and damp. That's where I clean the car, inside and out, and sometimes just sit down and look at it.
Your office idea, in your case, is great. Kinda like having your car with you as much as possible without tearing down walls to get it in there.
