Default 04 vert speakers

Every since I picked my 04 vert up, the right speaker rattles just enough for you to notice it. Can this be repaired under the warranty which still remains? Any one else's speakers ever rattle on their factory stereo? Thanks.

I would expect this to be a warranty problem but I gotta' tell you what I found when I disassembled my interior to insulate it. One of the four screws that hold the rear speaker on the driver's side was half in and half out of the hole it was suppose to be tightened into.

Maybe that's your problem. Just a screw loose that's vibrating, or because one is missing the speaker is frame is rattling. Just some thoughts on this.

But its easy to find out by removing the molding yourself and looking. First pull the black plug at the front of the molding near the door sill. then starting from the rear, try to slide your finger(s) under the bottom of the molding moving them towards the front until you can't go any further. At that point pull the molding outward (towards centerline of car).

There are three shafts in the molding that are pressure pushed into the body that hold the molding in place, two near the rear (one above the other) and the other (I can't remember).

You can figure it out easy enough once you get that first shaft pulled out that'll kinda be above where your fingers stop as described above.

Good luck!
