Thank you. It is posted in the Tech forum. I put this link here because some folks don't go to tech as often and there has been a lot of E brake questions lately. I just finished this job about an hour ago and it is very straight forward. I had other things I was doing, and did the e-brake after I replaced the HVAC module.
How's about a "fix-the-e-brake" party one Sunday? My e-brake isn't worth much parked on a hill. Putting it in "park" is all that keeps it from rolling away... I hate doing that to my tranny.
Funny though, it does seem to hold with the car facing uphill, but never downhill. Do you think your solution would help, or is that a whole 'nother problem?

Yea, I saw it there. I'm talking about the Tech tips located in the drop down lists in the toolbar above marked "Other". These will stay, the Tech forum will fade away into the archives (hopefully)
