I have noticed that when washing, polishing and waxing my 02 some parts of the body seem to be loose or seem to move when a little bit of pressure is applied ex. top of front fender where hood ,door and fender meet, also in back of car near exhaust if you just tap it lightly it sounds loose and makes a vibration type noise. My old mans 69 is glued together and so is my little brothers 64 but I have noticed my 02 has bolts, should I worry or do these need to be tightened to a certian torque. Also when did two sided sticky tape become the industry standard, so far I have lost an exhaust plate and the hood seal I just ripped off cause it never stuck where I wanted it to and it just collected dust and trust me everything was cleaned when applied.
thanks for the help
Can't tell for sure from your post, but I think you're talking about the urathane covers over the front and rear clips. Those aren't the same fiberglas as the rest of the car and yes, they move. They're flexible and will bend under pressure. That's normal.

I agree. As for the tape, it has been used for a long time to secure items to the car. Both the items you mention are aftermarket, and perhaps when the install was done the area was not cleaned well enough. Properly done, the pieces should stay put for a long, long time.
