Will a C-6 shifter solve my problems?
I have an 04 coupe MN6. Have owned other manual cars but it has been many years ago. When trying to shift in a spirited manner I have problems with the shifter. It is almost like it hits notches or something. I used to be one heck of a power shifter never letting up on the gas. Would not dream of attempting this with the stock shifter. Am worried about warranty so it appears my only option would be the new C-6 shifter. If there are any members that have this shifter in their C-5 that are willing to fill me in on ease of "spirited" shifting please reply. Thanks to any and all for info.

buying a c6 shifter tomorrow from fitchner $220 shipped - i think.. I have read and looked at MANY shifters and for a DD standpoint this is the best shifter for ME. It is much shorter and smoother than stock yet not super notchy and annoying for a DD perspective

My 04 is a little notchy when cold, but when it is warmed up, it shifts fine. I did replace the trans fluid with full synthetic, which helped a lot...
