Default Ebay purchase. Tail light covers

Zapped on ebay my seller.

Purchased tail light louvers from _ _ _ _' _ Muscle Car Parts in Ohio. Purchased tail light louvers trim covers and they do not fit. Seller is giving me a hard time about returning stating he sold 1,000 of these and never had a problem. I have a 98 coupe and there is no way these will fit into my tail light openings. The piece are to big for the opening that houses the tail light. Has anyone installed these and where purchased and what experience did you have with fit. My arrived today, cost 60.00 shipped, and are useless. Tail lights and third brake light covers.

Thanks

I can't speak for this seller or this kit you bought, but ALL taillight covers appear too big because they only go on in one direction. There is a top and bottom - and they have to be eased in one corner at a time.

I had the same problem when I sold my billet covers to a forum member and he said they couldn't fit. I talked him through the process and he's a happy camper now.

Take your time, make sure they are the correct way up and ease them in from one side. Do NOT put both screws in at the same time - it will never go in like that.
