Any '97 door experts out there?
I want to get inside my door, and I know how to get the panel etc off (thanx to Forum guys) but that does not seem to give me access to the area where the window is located. In the drawings there is what seems to be a small panel under the door panel that may - or may not - give me access to that area. Does anyone know? Thanx

I had to re-read your question twice. I almost sent you a link to Ken King's web site on how to take the door panel off - but after I re-read it, I figured out that you already know this part. 
You might think about checking with a glass shop and ask them how they access the window when they have to replace it.
