Well today was the actual 3rd time my SERVICE COLUMN LOCK appeard.
The recall was done almost 5 months ago and 2 months later it was at my local dealer once again. But today was the wierd one, after waiting 2 hours for the tow truck to show and then paying $85.00 dollars to get it over to my local dealer, Oh ya! not to mention the tow truck driver even made fun of me. He said he deals with these problems almost every day! Well after getting the car half way down, he notice the steering wheel starting to move. So he stop what he was doing, jumped on the flat bed and sure enough the SERVICE COLUMN LOCK
was gone and the steering wheel was unlocked.
Is this normal or has it happen to anyone before.
I really would like to know since I'm a fairly new C5 owner.

From your description, apparently the dealer's work on the recall did not do the job. Do you have a column lock bypass installed? If not, I'd recommend getting one and then you should be done with the problem.
