HUD Shift Light enabled?
Does the tach have to be displayed on the HUD to see the shift light, or will it appear with all settings? I don't want to try it with just the speedo displayed cause if it doesn't show up I may not know it till it's "too late."

My '99 has a shift light on the HUD, but I always keep all the gauges active( Speedo, tach, fuel, ect.) so I'm not sure which it would be bundeled with if all were not on.
Good luck

The HUD shift light is a joke, as it's very hard to notice while driving.

When your driving the car hard its impossible to pay attention and focus on that at the same time.

Bruce, you believe which - enabled all the time, or just with the tach?
So, are we all in agreement that
the shift light works regardless of what else is on the HUD display?
Thank you all for your responses.

It's so small and hard to read at a time where my attention is focused on the road ahead that I've only seen the HUD shift light come on once. I installed a Raptor in my A-pillar guage pod. I've never missed seeing this one.

I think the shift light works regardless of what is displayed, but I'll have to check it out.
