Unique production by year?
Is there a way to determine how many of YOUR type of Vette, with the same RPOs, were produced in a given model year?
I've seen a website that rolled up the general numbers: percentage of coupe, verts, and Z06 produced; percentage of each with the Z51, percentage of each with Black paint, percentage with MN6 or A4 tranny, etc.
What I've not be able to find is a more detailed view of this information.
I'd love to know how many 2002 Mil Yellow Verts with 1SB, memory package, Z51, MN6, and my other RPOs were actually produced during that model year.
When you think that only about 36,000 units were produced in a given model year and the wide variety of RPOs that are available, your particular Vette is actually pretty unique!!

1,663 Painted Mill. Yellow (MY)
32% of all 12,710 converts had MN6 = 4,067
22% of all 12,710 converts had Z51 = 2,796
11% of all 12,710 converts had 1SB = 1,399
Applying percentages across MY verts only:
32% of 1,663 MY verts w/MN6 = 532
22% of 1,663 MY verts = 365
11% of 1,663 MY verts w/1SB = 183 <=== Bingo!
At most, approximately 183 2002 Millenium Yellow converts were produced w/1SB package, Z51 & MN6, most likely there were a much less.

With the number of Vettes on the road today, what are the odds that you'd find another Vette exactly like yours? Almost ZERO!

Like rickko mentions, you have to do a little extrapolation to come up with an estimate of the number of cars that are exactly like yours. Even then, it is just that, an estimate. I haven't heard of any definitive records that would really narrow down the number.
