What is everyones opinion on the new ECPLISE AVN5435....nav dvd et al

I think there's 3 inputs, and they're behind the deck.

check the audio section. input guaranteed.

Thanks. not too many response there that is why I am asking in the General section. SCOTT FX is the only one responding in the Audio section.

I thought about putting that unit in the Vette but the shop was going to charge me an arm and a leg to fabricate the dash to fit the head unit. The unit itself is awesome, great nav and you have to love the dual disc slots (one for cd's and one for the nav disc) behind the screen.

In the end, I just couldn't justify the expense of the install... ~$1500 on top of the cost of the unit. OUCH!

I think the new Tom Tom 700 will be my nav choice. I'll get a nice Alpine head unit and Vrum Vrum's mounting plate to take care of the tunes.

Eclipse has made very solid units on par with Alpine, I doubt you would be unhappy with it. Eclipse is alos much more widely distributed then it used to be.....
