96K and counting on this 97. Runs like a raped ape and still feels solid and tight.

Wierd... your car and mine were probably both on the assembly line at the same time, 9 years ago, and here we are, discussing it, having never met, a world apart...

Default great guys

guess our c5s are the rarest of all c5s, mine has 75000 and still going like a bat, very few problems, guess 1st year isnt as bad as everyone seems to think, maybe they took a little more time with ours ,since every other year they produced 30,000 more or less, rock on 97s

#1060 Black on Black with a little over 71,000 miles on the odometer, no problems whatso ever, only mods so far are Z06 TI's, Blackwing with Icebox, Phantom taillight & license louvers, 2000 thin spoke chrome wheels...more mods to come in the future.

Thanks for asking this question as I was wondering the same thing as how many were still on the road now. Personally I think of all the C5s produced the 97 will be the "collectible" of all C5s...only 9752 produced that year as well as the 1st year of production for the C5. This has to account for something down the road in years to come.

Dave
