Question about something. Moderators?

Question about something. Moderators?
I am going to make a donation today for the charity gathering that I had last weekend. At least for this first event, I want everyone to know that everything is on the up and up. Here is my question:
1. Should I make the donation over the phone and receive the confirmation letter and post it up?
2. Should I make the donation over the phone and have the confirmation sent to a moderator?
3. Should I have money orders made and send to a moderator here and they can send it off to the relief?
Thanks! Just don't want anyone to think something fishy is going on. The total amount raised was $1080.72 so it will be alloated as follows:
$540.36 in the name of Corvetteforum.com and
$540.36 in the name of Houston Area Lightning Owners

How about a moderator just PM me your fax and email. I should be able to get a confirmation to you either way.
