What do you do?
I personally spend more money on parts for looks than peformance, but I was curious about the rest of y'all.

Hard for me to answer that one. My mods have to meet 2 requirements: performance and looks. In other words, they have to look good and perform even better. Example: I have OEM polished ZO6 wheels. They look great, lighter than C5 wheels and provide a larger contact surface.

So far, more on looks than performance. I like the idea of having more
horses, but at the same time, I don't feel like I make full use of the ones that are there.
I need to be less wastefull

Until this week I had spent most of my mod money (about $2500) on appearance. Just got my car back from LPE with about $8500 in performance mods.

Performance parts for me. Although the LT headers could be both because I love the way they look, LOL. And the smooth coupler has to be for looks because I didn't get the 28 HP gain that they claimed. Just kidding, the last one was a joke!

i spend more money on performance. in my opinion its a lot more enjoyable. but at the same time its nice to be different, and stick out.
only thing, is that appearance mods add up $$$ and with that money i just think about what kinda HP #'s i could be putting down!!
do a little of both. best of both worlds!

The poll is going to be skewed by the fact that "bling" can be had cheap. Performance gains take serious bucks. You can buy an exhaust plate or stainless letters for 70-80 bucks. When you want a set of headers, you're talking $1500, we won't even go into superchargers or heads/cam.

I have enough peformance to satisfy me, as it came from the factory.

So far, my spending for parts that are for looks far exceeds those for performance. Some day that may change.
