Remember you're not lifting the entire car, only a portion of it. The car only weighs about 3300 lbs., so a jack rated to lift 3000 lbs should be plenty.
If you're buying a jack - think about finding one that is a low profile jack and be sure to follow proper jacking techniques - the rocker panels on your car are easily damaged if not lifted properly.
I bought a lightweight, 1.5 ton low profile (3" height) jack from Pep Boys a couple of months ago. I've used it regularly to lift my stock height vert. Works good except its a little hard to control the speed of descent when lowering the vehicle. Jack is made by Torin.
Note, 'capacity' on label. Pic is of it lifting heaviest part of car, the front.
