Just purchased mine and was reading over in c6 section about 3 fires caused by dynotechs..(I know they are a different application).
I have read only good things about them here.
I would like to know what precautions/tips I can use to shield components from heat..Any ideas would be great
Installed the Dynatech Supermaxx system including high flow cats and x-pipe on my 04 vert MN6 on May 4th. The installation went very smoothly. Excellent fit with no ground clearance problems. It fits up nice and tight like the stock system. No problems with excess heat, and I spent a morning at the strip. Nothing that I can see is close to coming it contact with the system. Care needs to be taken when routing the O2 sensor cables. My 04 required extensions for the rear O2's. Highly recommend the system. Also installed Indy pace Car cat back at the same time. Performance and sound is awsome!!

Keep ALL cables, wires, pipes away from your headers (no matter what brand) and you'll be fine.

Dynatechs and Pace Car - Priceless...
My neighbor told me when I was pulling out last week (I'm always careful to keep it as quite as possible in the neighborhood) his 3 year old son looked up and said "Daddy, airplane".
I can't wait to get mine installed..
I will be doing it myself so I really need to take my time and watch all my clearances.
I really enjoyed your write up E.G..you have a sweet machine.
I will be waiting for your H/C write up

Thanks.
It will Just be Cam/Springs right now. Heads will have to wait until I finish my suspension (Z06 springs/Hotchkis sways/sticky tyres)
